I have tried to change my pic on my profile but it won't let me. Anyone know what i am doing wrong. As soon as I push the (remove) it flashes then goes right back to the picture. What do I need to do to change it? Any ideas? Thanks

Can a person have to many blogs?

I didn't know that I was addicted to the blog until my daughter emailed me with her new site . I then realized that I had already had one here ... plus 2 more..I'm not sure as to why because I really don't have that much to talk about. I don't know if it is the numb feeling I get in my fingers or the fact that I now get my friends mixed up as to which blog they are talking about, either way I hope to move everything here and stick to just this one. So bare with me as I change my site (once I learn how here) and I hope to fit right in....

The farm is greener and greener with all this rain. We haven't been able to get into the garden much at all. What the rain doesn't wash out, the weeds are going to take, if we can't get in there soon. The peas are doing great, they like the cooler, rainy weather. If I need to replant I will. I want to put up as much of our own food as I can.

Lastnight I went out and picked cherries. I love cherry jelly and it looks so pretty on the pantry shelf. I want my pantry to be filled to the brim ,with extra to give to friends in need.

The chickens should start laying by the end of this month. I have two layers from lastyear. I have no idea what happened to the other 5, They were gone one by one, not even a feather was laying around the coop? No blood or anything. So I hope these do better.That will help on our food bill and also I know how they were raised.

Rubarb, got put into the freezer last week and strawberries are coming on pretty good. I love strawberry/rubarb pie. yum yum. How's your garden doing? Does anyone make anything good out of rubarb? Always looking for new things to try. Have a great night. Sherry

A DAY IN MY LIFE

FOR TODAY

Outside my Window... The sun is shining. The birds are eating at the feeder. I have a nest on my door! so mommy bird is feeding her young.

I am thinking...or perhaps pondering I'm so glad I have three days off this week

I am thankful for... my family and friends

From the kitchen... Pancakes and coffee fill the air. In the back ground a slight smell of a potroast cooking

I am creating... stichwork for christmas this year.

I am going... to be at the house today, I have one of my girls laying in bed needed help from her mom.

I am wearing...t shirt and soft pants I am reading...cook books looking for new ideas for my weekly menu

I am hoping..all our soldiers come home safe.

I am hearing... birds singing

Around the house ...hubby just went outside, the microwave bell lets me know it's done. Kaydy is asleep on the floor, big sister is in her bed.( the one I am taking care of this weekend)

One of my favorite things...the sound of clothes whipping in the air, going barefoot in freshly turned dirt.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week ... besides work, getting the house clean from this weekend. Getting ready for a yard sale.
